Out of the Amionic Sack

The bubble, filled with amionic fluid, lubricates the path for the lamb. Once free from the birth canal, the membrane is ruptured either by the mother ewe or the shepard. The mother then begins to lick the lamb. The licking stimulated the lamb and encourages it to stand.
